WHO WE ARE

We operate a shelter and foster-based rescue in city of Thara located in Banaskantha taluka of Gujarat, India. Our facility spans 10 acres of land, with 5 acres specifically allocated to sheltering . Our shelter accommodates a variety of animals such as cows, calves, goats, sheep, rabbits, bulls, buffaloes, totalling approximately 1000 animals.

Currently, we are in process of upgrading our infrastructure. We have built new shelters and roads. We have installed CCTVs for remote monitoring. We have hired full time doctors. Our animals are frequently fed with mango pulp, watermelon, musk melon and various sweets.

Jiv Daya “Panjarapol”

Our Panjarapol is more than 100 years old and actively engaged in serving the noble cause of Jivdaya.

Animals

We have various types of animals including cows, calves, goats, sheeps, rabbits, bulls, buffaloes etc totaling around1000. 

Medical Treatments

We have two full time doctors who checks and makes sure of well being of animals. We are also in process of building full service hospital for them.

— We Accept​

Our organization has become “go to” place for the villages around Thara. Anytime when there is a sick or abandoned animal in near by village they are given to us for taking care of them.

It is the need of our time to completely re-enliven these humane and compassionate principles for the care and well-being of cows and of society.

— We Maintain

The Foundation will accept grant proposals from farms and sanctuaries wishing to implement the principles of The Cows Foundation.
